SHANA TOVA U'METUKAH

We welcome the new year with a renewed sense of purpose as a Jewish day school. The world looks different than it did a year ago. Joyful, traditional Jewish education has become even more critical, and our students are thriving!

This new year also brings a renewed commitment to cultivating positivity and achdut (unity) within our WDS family. With the challenges we face locally and globally, we must continue to strengthen our connections, celebrate our traditions, and support one another.

Yesterday’s Hachnasat Sefer Torah & Fall Festival beautifully embodied this ruach (spirit) as we came together for the momentous dedication of two restored Sifrei Torah to our school, one in memory of the souls lost on and since October 7th and the other in honor of our WDS community.

Please enjoy our latest Rosh Hashanah B'yachad Edition, offering a highlight reel of the incredible activities that have filled the halls of WDS over the past six months.

The Board, WDS Leadership, Educators and Students wish you a

prosperous and healthy New Year.
