M'dor L'dor: Celebrating Grandparents & Special Friends Day at WDS

Grandparents & Special Friends Day is one of our most beloved WDS traditions, and this year’s celebration was especially meaningful. From heartfelt davening to hands-on classroom experiences, our special guests were immersed in the WDS spirit, witnessing firsthand the vibrant learning, deep-rooted values, and incredible growth of our students.

As part of the day, Morah Ronit, our Hebrew Language Coordinator, led a powerful Pesach and Israel-themed activity. Students and their guests explored the central theme of Pesach—“From Slavery to Freedom”—and connected it to current events, including a heartfelt discussion about the recently returned hostages from Gaza.

Together, each family researched a historic location in Israel where Bnei Yisrael celebrated Pesach after entering the Land. They discovered facts from the past and present, added photos, and proudly presented their findings in Hebrew.

The smiles, the stories, the shared moments—M’dor L’dor at its finest.
