It’s Official! WDS 2nd Graders in the Macy’s Parade!

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, our creative Westchester Day School second graders were given an incredible opportunity—designing 29 brand-new balloons for this year’s celebration! Macy’s President shared, “We’re thrilled to collaborate with such a talented and imaginative group of young designers. This partnership brings a fresh and joyful spirit to our 100th celebration.” Our students worked hard, brainstorming, sketching, and refining their designs through a writer’s workshop, before handing them off to Macy’s balloon artists!
