Bringing Learning to Life at the Maritime Aquarium

To conclude their semester of studying the Long Island Sound, fifth graders embarked on an exciting trip to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT. This hands-on experience allowed students to explore marine life beyond what they typically encounter along the shores of WDS. Seeing a variety of fascinating sea creatures up close deepened their understanding of the Sound’s ecosystem and reinforced their classroom learning in a meaningful way. It was a fantastic way to bring science to life and celebrate their hard work this semester!
